John Steel Tailors specialises in crafting custom pieces that truly fit one's body, lifestyle and occasions of wear. This includes suiting, but also a wide range of casual designs.

We employ a semi-bespoke process where a unique suit pattern is drafted for each customer. While the fitting process is detailed, it is not time-intensive for the customer. From the initial fitting, customers can shop our full wardrobe range, from suiting to knitwear to jeans or polo shirt.

Every garment comes with a fit guarantee.

Please contact us if you're not fully satisfied with the fit of an item, and we will be happy to remake or tailor the garment for you, depending on the issue at hand.

This guarantee extends even after the item is worn or washed, within 45 days from receiving the garment. This provides you the chance to see if the garment really fits you well.

Note however, this guarantee doesn't apply if an item has since been damaged, excessively worn out, or tailored by a third party.

As items are custom fitted for each customer, we are unable to provide change of mind refunds at this time.

Our two-piece suits start at $1190.

• S100 Italian fabric, half canvas, cut and sewn in Asia: $1190
• S130 Italian fabric, full canvas, cut and sewn in Asia: $1790
• Full canvas, cut and sewn in Italy, with additional handcrafted detail: $2950

Made-to-measure shirts start at $250.

We value price transparency. Each item listed in our Range pages includes pricing information.

Expect final pieces within 3 - 6 weeks from order confirmation, with the majority of our range having a 4 week timeframe. For those unable to pick up in store, delivery is complimentary within Australia.

Each item has an individual lead time reflecting its journey from cloth mill to atelier and to us. Expected timeframes are included in each product page within the Delivery section. Please allow 1 week extra during holiday periods such as Christmas.

Our cloths are sourced from the finest mills in Italy to provide a luxurious garment that will last many wears.

Garments are then constructed and finished by leading ateliers in Italy, rest of Europe, and Asia, before being sent to us.
