John Steel is a unique service offering men an easier way to find items that truly fit them.
An hour session is all that's required to set you up in our system, allowing you to order a wide range of custom garments instore or online, guaranteed to fit you.

Every garment comes with a fit guarantee.
Please contact us if you're not fully satisfied with the fit of an item, and we will be happy to remake or tailor the garment for you, depending on the issue at hand.
This guarantee extends even after the item is worn or washed, within 45 days from receiving the garment. This provides you the chance to see if the garment really fits you well.
Note however, this guarantee doesn't apply if an item has since been damaged, excessively worn out, or tailored by a third party.
As items are custom fitted for each client, we are unable to provide change of mind refunds at this time.
Expect items to arrive within 4 - 6 weeks from order confirmation, with the majority of our range having a 4 week timeframe. Delivery is complimentary within Australia.
Each item has an individual lead time reflecting its journey from cloth mill to atelier and to us. Expected timeframes are included in each product page under the Delivery section. Please allow 1 week extra during holiday periods such as Christmas.
If you require something urgently, please contact us to discuss available options. We may be able to recommend a ready-to-wear alternative that would suit you.
These services normally incur a charge of $100 per hour. Please also see our wardrobe analysis package.
Our cloths are sourced from the finest mills in Italy to provide a luxurious garment that will last many wears.
Garments are then constructed and finished by leading ateliers in Italy and Asia, before being sent to us.
For example, for our suiting range, you can choose between atelier partners in Italy and Asia to craft your suit.
For new clients, in order to take accurate measurements, we require the initial session to be in store.
For existing clients, we are happy to conduct appointments online if you would like styling advice.
